Scott was born in Alice Springs and has an extensive knowledge of the town and it’s surroundings and would be more than happy to advise on any tours and information. We have completed our mangers residence on top of Cavenagh Lodge B&B so now the managers Scott & Shona are on site.The managers premises are upstairs above the Lodge.
Following is a brief description of our Lodge
Cavenagh lodge B & B consists of 5 Queen-size bedrooms -:The Sturt Desert Pea Room ;The Desert Rose Room The Telegraph Station Room ; The Spencer Hill Room & The Office Suite.

The Office Suite -:
This queen size recently renovated bedroom is off the far side of the lodge & boasts its own en suite & has its own entrance.
The Sturt Desert Pea Room -:
Located outside by the kitchen is the first bedroom which has its own entrance & boasts its own en suite with shower/bath /toilet.
Its own TV & queen- size bed.
The three queen size bedrooms inside are -:
" The Desert Rose Room " & the "The Telegraph Station Room" & the "Spencer Hill Room"

Each bedroom has a queen size bed & an extra single bed if needed.The bedrooms all share a large bathroom divided into three totally separate rooms shower/toilet/bath, and vanity and are well furnished , with an electric wall heater for winter.
The well equipped huge kitchen with a large breakfast bench is well furnished & allows guests to cook meals & snacks with microwave /stove / oven .
A spacious living room has a T.V with , V.H.S DVD player & electric wall heater for winter.
We also have "The Dutch Tub Experience" on request which is a wood fired hot tub to relax in under the stars.
We have plenty of books /videos & childrens toys available free of charge
A snooker table is available on request in the games shed.
The large salt water swimming pool & large entertaining area hosts outdoor furnishings includeing a huge wooden table to gather around & this area gives great views of the surrounding landscape . The shaded B.B.Q. area, it is a great place to relax over a meal or a cool drink and watch the sunset.

A guest's laundry is equipped with washing and ironing free facilities.
To To ensure privacy, a hot & cold larder breakfast is provided for guests to cook at their leisure. Breakfasts consist of -
